Nefyn & District |
|
In 1907, Nefyn and District Golf Club was formed. After minor transformations and additions, the course consists of 26 holes. Beautiful outward 10 holes and two distinctly different inward 8 holes, the New and Old Course. The "New Course" inward 8 follows gently rolling fairways with strategically placed bunkers and a challenging rough along the way. On a clear day, it is possible to enjoy amazing views of the tops of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland The "Old Course" inward 8 follows the peninsular surrounding Porth Dinllaen Bay. Spectacular views of Angelesey and Snowdonia can be seen in the far distance. There are amazing views of the sea on every tee on the course. The course is available for play all year round. The course is always open and very well maintained throughout the year. |
