Vilamoura Opened in 1969, "Vilamoura Old" is the first of the three Vilamoura Courses. Designed by Frank Pennink, it hosted the Portuguese Open in 1979.
The lush green landscape and the great variety of holes make this a very attractive and unique course. Renovated in 1997, the verdant fairways run through surrounding pine trees adding to the challenge to the game.
This Algarve course may remind players of those beautiful and challenging inland British courses.
