Troia Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Troia is one of the most fascinating and difficult golf courses in Portugal.
The course opened in 1982 and is located on an isolated peninsula across from the beautiful city of Setubal. It has breathtaking views over the ocean and is surely a golfers' paradise.
With the majestic backdrop of the Arrabida Mountain range and surrounding beaches, sand becomes the principal obstacle. Pine trees and wild plants are also found in abundance along the course. Tight fairways leading to challenging small and narrow greens protected by huge bunkers await you. This course requires great dexterity and total concentration.
Troia hosted the Portuguese Open Championship in 1983.
