Old Prestwick  Old Prestwick

A truly traditional links course, Old Prestwick hosted the first 12 Open Championships beginning in 1860. There is a tremendous sense of history, savour the atmosphere.

Protected by the meandering waters of "Pow Burn", Prestwick boasts a unique array of holes with significant amounts of heather and gorse. Beware of the out of bounds railway line on the 1st hole, the Cardinal Bunker on the 3rd hole, the controversial blind shots and misleading initial unkempt appearance throughout the course.
