Situated in Newcastle, the course stretches out along the shores of Dundrum Bay. This rugged seaside links course is probably Northern Ireland's most famous course. Old Tom Morris expanded the original nine holes, bordering the Irish Sea with the scenic background of the Mountains of Mourne.

A championship test and one of the most admired seaside courses in the world. The golf is wonderfully natural. It is conveniently laid out in two distinct loops of nine holes. The front nine is closer to the sea and is more sandy in nature and larger dunes. The back nine has a plentiful supply of heather and gorse without as many sandhills.
