Opened in 1990, The Kildare Golf Club, or K-Club as it is familiarly known is located west of Dublin in the beautiful emerald green countryside of County Kildare. Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, this parkland course is the regular site of the annual European PGA Open and will be the venue for the 2005 Ryder Cup Matches. The course features wide, flat bunkers, plenty of water and beautiful vistas. The 7th hole is a magnificent 600 yards that winds along the River Liffey to a green situated on a small island with a 19th century iron bridge connecting the fairway to the green. |
