Ballyliffin    Ballyliffin

Ireland's most northerly golf club, Ballyliffen is the 'Dornoch of Ireland'and has been regarded as the ultimate hidden gem. The links follow along the shore beside Pollan Bay and overlooks a vast stretch of sand. It is set on 365 acres of spectacular duneland surrounded by curvaceous hills and mountains.

Ballyliffin offers two outstanding and contrasting links courses: the classic Old Links and the magnificent new Glashedy Links.

The Old Links course opened in 1947. It has been described as the most natural golf course with amazing rippling fairways. It has unique character and charm.

Glashedy Links opened in 1995. It is a Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock design. It differs from the Old Links; it is much longer and is laid out on predominately higher ground. It has large sandhills and sweepingly, undulating terrain with vast greens and deep revetted bunkers. It is both dramatic and beautiful.
