Estoril Palacio  Estoril Palacio

Estoril Palacio is one of the oldest and best-known golf courses in Portugal. It is located near the internationally famous luxurious beach resort of Estoril.

Designed by Mackenzie Ross in 1945. However, over the years, a number of alterations have been made the courses original layout.

The course has uneven terrain, pine trees and eucalyptuses making this course challenging in terms of accuracy rather than distance.

The Estoril course hosted the Portuguese Open Championship between 1953 and 1972, and also in 1997. It was also host of the Ladies Open in 1977, 1988 and 1997.
